BEML FY05 net zooms 600%

Bharat Earth Movers (BEML) repored a 614% increase in net profit at Rs 172.57 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005 as against Rs 24.16 crore in FY04.

According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 1,916.06 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005 as against Rs 1,808.81 crore in FY04.

The company posted a net profit of Rs 123.62 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2005 as against Rs 18.71 crore in Q4FY04. Total income increased to Rs 807.18 crore from Rs 581.97 crore, the release added.
