BEML Q3 net zooms 129%

Bharat Earth Movers (BEML) today reported a 129.54% jump in net profit at Rs 55.78 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2005 as against Rs 24.30 crore in Q3FY05.

According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, total income increased 72.77% to Rs 563.64 crore in Q3FY06 from Rs
326.23 crore in Q3FY05.

The board has approved an interim dividend of 30%, the release added.
