Ahmedabad-based Bhagwati Banquets and Hotels Ltd., under the brand name The Grand Bhagwati (TGB), has unveiled a 5-star deluxe hotel convention centre and club in Surat on Monday. Spread across an area of six lakh sq ft, the property is poised to be the largest 5-star deluxe hotel in Gujarat.
Built at an investment of Rs 200 crore, the Surat property houses one of the largest convention centre with more than one lakh sq ft of pillar-less convention space, apart from 162 deluxe rooms and eight suites, ballrooms, banquets, conference rooms, manicured lawns, three multi cuisine restaurants, 24 hours coffee shop and boutique shops Talking about the company's new property, Narendra Somani, CMD, Bhagwati Banquets and Hotels Ltd. said, "Surat being the diamond and textile hub of India has huge in flow of business and leisure tourists from across the world. With the launch of TGB Surat we wish to give guests impart an exhilarating experience with unmatched comfort to our guests." TGB Surat will also house an elite club that includes health spa, half Olympic size swimming pool, coffee shop, cigar lounge, tennis court, table tennis, squash, billiards and pool tables, jacuzzi, children's area, discotheque, theatre, walking track and card room.
