Bharat Earth Movers Q1 net up 21%

Bharat Earth Movers (BEML) has posted a net profit of Rs 15.01 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 12.41 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005.

According to an official release issued by BEML to the BSE today, total income has decreased from Rs 382.79 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005 to Rs 343.76 crore for quarter ended June 30, 2006.

The board of the company has recommended a dividend of 100% inclusive of the 30% interim dividend already paid, the release said.
