Auto component-maker Bharat Forge today reported 6.64% decline in its net profit at Rs 96.38 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2013.


Auto component-maker Bharat Forge today reported 6.64% decline in its net profit at Rs 96.38 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2013.<br />

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 102.78 crore for the same period of previous fiscal, Bharat Forge said in a filing to the BSE.<br />
<br />
Net sales of the company stood at Rs 821.38 crore for the second quarter, as compared to Rs 852.19 crore during the same period of last year.<br />
<br />
Shares of Bharat Forge were trading at Rs 281.55 on the BSE in late afternoon trade, down 1.44% from its previous close.
