The company's net profit grew by 17.66 per cent at Rs 181.15 crore for the nine month period ended December 31, 2006, against Rs 153.95 crore for the corresponding period in the previous year.
The total income of the grew to Rs 1,348.37 crore during the nine month period, registering a growth of 18.32 per cent as compared to the previous year's Rs 1,139.51 crore.
Consolidated net profit of the group for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 was Rs 76.95 crore, up by 22.74 per cent as compared to the previous years net profit of Rs 62.69 crore.
Total income (net of excise) of the group stood at Rs 1,037.09 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2006, registering a growth of 8.40 per cent as against Rs 956.67 crore recorded in the previous year.
