Telecom services provider Bharti Airtel today said it has alloted 65,385 shares pursuant to conversion of foreign currency convertible bonds (FCCBs).
In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company said the board has allotted 65,385 equity shares of the company up on conversion of $350,000 FCCBs.
Further, the committee of directors of the company has also approved the allotment of 6,075 equity shares to the employees upon exercise of stock options.
"With the allotment of the above shares the equity base of the company stands increased to 1,898,311,256 shares from the present 1,898,239,796 shares of Rs 10 each," the filing added.
On Wednesday shares of Bharti Airtel closed at Rs 749.30, up 3,25% on the BSE.
