The government today said that divestment of its 30 per cent holding in mobile operator Bharti Hexacom is under progress.
"The (divestment of our 30 per cent stake in Bharti Hexacom) is under progress," Telecom Secretary Siddhartha Behura said.
Government holds 30 per cent stake in Bharti Hexacom through Telecom Consultants India Ltd (TCIL).
TCIL Chairman-cum-Managing Director Rakesh Upadhyay said that the disinvestment process is currently under progress, as and when it happens it will be good for the company.
The valuation of the company is yet to be done, said Upadhyay.
