Bharti's shareholders approves final dividend of Rs 1

Private telecom services provider Bharti Airtel today said its shareholders have given their consent to pay a final dividend of Rs 1 per share on the face value of Rs 5 each.

The shareholders of the company at its meeting held have also approved the re-appointment of Pulak Chandan Prasad, Chua Sock Koong, Rajan Bharti Mittal and Rakesh Bharti Mittal as directors on the board of the company, Bharti Airtel said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Shares of Bharti Airtel today closed at Rs 337.30 on the BSE, up 3.10 per cent from the previous close.
