Bharti Tele FY05 net zooms 132%

Bharti Tele Ventures has reported a 132% increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 1,439.27 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005 as against Rs 619.46 crore for the year ended March 31, 2004.

According to a release issued to the BSE today, total revenue increased to Rs 8,066.67 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005 from Rs 5,037.09 crore in FY04.

The group has posted a 44% increase in net profit at Rs 436.82 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2005 as against Rs 303.77 crore in Q4FY04. Total revenues increased to Rs 2,328.92 crore in Q4FY05 from Rs 1,577.34 crore in Q4FY04, the release added.
