Bharti Telenet today slashed ISD tariffs for its select fixed line subscribers by 33 per cent to Rs 15.99 a minute.
On weekends, Touchtel subscribers will be able to make calls to US and Canada at Rs 9.99 per minute.
Other private basic operators like Reliance and Tata Teleservices have already brought down ISD rates from Rs 24 to Rs 16 a minute.
Bharti has, however, gone a step further and introduced special weekend tariffs, whereby Touchtel users can call Europe and Singapore at 11.99 per minute and United Arab Emirates & Saudi Arabia at Rs 13.99 per minute.
