BHEL bags 330-MW hydro power project in J&K

State-run BHEL today said it has bagged a Rs 495 crore order for setting up a 330-MW hydro-electric power project in Jammu & Kashmir.

"BHEL has secured a contract for setting up a 330 MW (3x110 MW) hydro-electric project in the state of Jammu and Kashmir," a company statement said.

Of the turnkey contract, BHEL has been awarded the order for the complete electro-mechanical package.

The company's scope of work in the contract envisages design, manufacture, supply, installation and commissioning of complete electro-mechanical works for the project.
