BILT plans Rs 25cr capex for tissue biz

BILT is planning an investment of Rs 25 crore over five years for its tissue business. The company also launched a premier tissue brand Etiquette.

"The Indian market for tissue is Rs 600 crore with an average consumption of 30,000 metric tonne per year. BILT plans to expand this market and increase the consumption of disposable paper products," Gautam Thapar, vice chairman and managing director of BILT, said.

The company is aiming at a turnover of Rs 100 crore from the division in the next five years.
