Biocon Q2 net up 19% at Rs 54cr

Biocon has reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 53.95 crore during the second quarter ending September 30, 2007, a growth of 19% compared to the same period last fiscal. Net sales were up by 12% at Rs 278.99 crore.

For the half year ending September 30, 2007, the company's net profit was Rs 106.79 crore, a growth of 26.75% compared to the same period last fiscal. Net sales increased 19.26% to Rs 549.82 crore compared to the same period last fiscal.
