Blue Star net profit jumps three-fold |
Backed by strong growth in all sectors it operates in, air-conditioning and commercial refrigeration major Blue Star has reported a 206 per cent growth in net profit for the quarter ended June 30. Profits in the April-June quarter were Rs 22.32 crore compared with Rs 7.30 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. |
It reported a turnover of Rs 458.61 crore, up 48.65 per cent, compared with Rs 308.50 crore in the previous comparable quarter. Earnings per share also significantly improved to Rs 2.48 (Rs 0.81). |
3i Infotech bottom line surges 89% |
Strong growth in the product and services segment and strategic acquisitions has reflected in the Mumbai-based 3i Infotech's first quarter results. |
It registered a net profit (consolidated) of Rs 40.3 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, up 89 per cent, compared with Rs 21.3 crore over the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Revenues for the current quarter grew 98.3 per cent to Rs 264.2 crore (Rs 133.2 crore). |
Alstom net up 51% |
Power and transmission company Alstom Projects India registered a 50.86 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 17.5 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, compared with Rs 11.6 crore for the same period last year. |
Total income rose 8.45 per cent to Rs 250 crore for the June quarter from Rs 230.5 crore last year, the company informed BSE. |
