Blue Star bags Rs 130-cr order

Air-conditioning major Blue Star has bagged orders worth Rs 130-crore for air-conditioning and plumbing of the new integrated Terminal Building (Terminal 2) of the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA).

Blue Star has been awarded three contracts worth Rs 130-crore for air-conditioning and plumbing at CSIA, a press statement issued here stated.

A few months ago, the company had bagged a Rs 15-crore contract to air-condition the South-West Pier and has now won the contract to air-condition the T2 processor valued at Rs 93-crore, a press release issued here stated.

In addition, D S Gupta Construction Pvt Ltd, the company that Blue Star has recently acquired, has also been awarded the plumbing and fire-fighting contracting works of the new integrated terminal building, valued at Rs 22-crore, the release said.

 

Blue Star's scope of work involves supply, installation, testing, commissioning, handover, training, maintenance and warranty of all airconditioning and ventilation services as well as handling the project execution of the plumbing works.
