BMW launches Mini Countryman at Rs 36.5 lakh

Press Trust of India New Delhi
German luxury carmaker BMW on Wednesday launched an updated version of its premium compact car, Mini Countryman, at Rs 36.5 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The car’s features include six airbags, dynamic traction control, an anti-lock braking system, brake assist and run-flat indicator, the company said.

“Selective design modifications for the exterior and interior, along with innovative equipment features, contribute to the more mature charisma and increased appeal of the new Mini Countryman,” BMW Group India, President, Philipp von Sahr, said.

The vehicle is available at Mini dealerships across India as a CBU (completely built-up) unit from Wednesday. BMW Group introduced the Mini as a premium small car brand in India in 2012.

Presently, the Mini model range in the country includes the Mini 3-door, the Mini 5-door, the Mini Convertible and the Mini Countryman. Mini brand has four exclusive outlets in India.
