Industrial gas major BOC India today reported a net profit of Rs 26.72 crore for the first quarter ending March 31, 2011, up by 12.12% over the corresponding period last year, buoyed by sharp jump on other incomes.
The net sales of Rs 223.68 crore during the quarter, was down from Rs 256.43 crore registered in the corresponding quarter of 2009-10, the company said in a filing to stock exchanges.
Earning from other income head increased to Rs 63.3 crore, which was a sharp jump from Rs 0.81 crore in the corresponding period last year, it said.
