Bombay Dyeing has reported a 50% slump in its net profit at Rs 26.56 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005 as compared to Rs 53.50 crore in FY04. Total revenue (net of excise) has increased from Rs 966.35 crore in FY-04 to Rs 1,049.40 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005. According to a release issued by Bombay Dyeing to the BSE, the company has posted a net loss of Rs 3.44 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2005 as compared to a net profit of Rs 24.84 crore in the previous quarter last fiscal. Total income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 281.53 crore in Q4-04 to Rs 290.73 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2005. Bombay Dyeing board has recommended a dividend of Rs 4/- per equity shares of Rs 10/- each for the year ended March 31, 2005, the release said further. |
