Bombay Dyeing plans Rs 350cr PSF plant

The board of directors of Bombay Dyeing today approved a proposal to instal facilities to manufacture polyester staple fibre (PSF).

According to a release issued to the BSE today, the facilities will be set up at a cost of Rs 350 crore.

The company reported a lower net profit of Rs 7.16 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2004 as against Rs 13.13 crore in Q3FY04.

Total income increased to Rs 261.44 crore from Rs 247.56 crore in Q3FY04.
