Bombay HC allows withdrawal of Maxwell plea

Bombay High Court has permitted the withdrawal of the amalgamation scheme of Maxwell Industries (MIL) and Lovable Lingerie (LLPL).

According to a release issued by Maxwell to the BSE today that the petition of the transferee company, i.e. MIL, also stands disposed.

The promotors of MIL and LLPL had moved the court to withdraw the scheme of amalgamation as the effective date of scheme of amalgamation had expired.
