Textiles firm Bombay Rayon Fashions today posted a 40 per cent jump in its net profit to Rs 52.17 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2010, over the same period last fiscal.
The company had a net profit of Rs 37.29 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2009, Bombay Rayon Fashions said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
During the period, the company's net sales increased by 49.47 per cent to Rs 50.27 crore, from Rs 33.63 crore in the corresponding quarter previous fiscal.
