The Power Tools Division of Bosch Group, a global manufacturer of automotive and industrial technology, consumer goods and building technology products, today launched its first fully designed and made in India power tool, the Blower GBL 800E Professional, for both the domestic and export markets.
The product has applications in both industrial and household use, such as cleaning of machines andequipment in industries, workshops, workbenches, ventilation grills, blowing of husk at rice, pulse, cotton and spinning mills, air conditioning and refrigeration segment among others.
The company has set up a new manufacturing line in Bangalore to produce the new power tool with an annual capacity of 100,000 units. It has already bagged an order for 50,000 units from the domestic market. The product will also be manufactured for global markets exclusively in Bangalore, said Vijay Pandey, country head, Bosch Power Tools India.
