Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) has posted a 298% increase in consolidated net profit (after minority interest) at Rs 2,139.5 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 (FY07) as compared to Rs 537.3 crore in FY06. According to the release issued by the company to BSE today, total income (net of excise) has risen from Rs 77,915.5 crore in FY06 to Rs 98,871.1 crore in FY07. On a stand alone basis, the company has posted a 519% rise in net profit at Rs 1,805.5 crore in FY07 as against Rs 291.6 crore in FY06. Total income has also increased from Rs 77,501.2 crore in FY06 to Rs 98,293.4 crore in FY07. For the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2007 (Q4FY07), the company has posted a 60% decrease in net profit at Rs 670 crore as against Rs 1,683.9 crore in Q4FY06. Total Income, however, has increased to Rs 24,381.2 crore from Rs 22,761.4 crore in Q4FY06. |
