BPCL Q2 net soars to Rs 1259cr

Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) today reported a net profit of Rs 1258.5 crore for the second quarter ended September 2006 as against Rs 18.8 crore for Q2FY06.

According to the release issued by the company to the BSE, total income grew by 55.54% at Rs 26738.1 crore as compared to Rs 17190.1 crore in Q2FY06.
