BPCL swings to profit in Sept qtr at Rs 2,140 cr

Bharat Petroleum Corp Ltd, a state-run refiner, reported a turnaround in its net profit for September quarter at Rs 2,140 crore. For the same quarter a year ago, it reported a loss of Rs 160 crore.

Total income too saw a 30 per cent spurt at Rs 3,597 crore as against Rs 2,751 crore for the corresponding period a year ago.
