Brick Eagle to raise $100 mn for affordable housing

Brick Eagle is looking to tie up with 1000 acres of land this year to deliver one million housing units by 2030

Investment manager Brick Eagle Capital Advisory, today announced its plans to raise $ 100 million (Rs 620 crore) to invest in lands for affordable housing development. This will be routed through Brick Eagle’s Singapore fund.
 
Brick Eagle is looking to tie up with 1000 acres of land this year to deliver one million housing units by 2030. 
 
Rajesh Krishnan, Brick Eagle CEO said “Mumbai remains key focus area for our investments in 2014. Mumbai currently needs over 2.5 million affordable homes and we hope to address at least 1% of this demand through our investments”
