British shirtmaker partners with BMI to enter India

Intends to open over 50 TM Lewin locations over the next five years

TM Lewin, UK-based shirtmaker, today announced its entry into a franchise agreement with Brand Marketing India (BMI) to market and distribute the company branded products across India.

Established in 1898 in Jermyn Street, London, TM Lewin designs and manufactures superior quality business wear for men and women.

BMI, the company responsible for the successful  launch and development of the Calvin Klein jeans, underwear and French Connection businesses in India, intends to open over 50 TM Lewin locations over the next five years, thereby, positioning the business to capitalise on the significant growth potential of the Indian market.
 
Vijay Murjani, Chairman and MD of BMI said, “We firmly believe that T.M. Lewin, with its hallmark of impeccable British tailoring, combined with contemporary design at competitive prices, will be the perfect addition to the formal wear market in India."
