BRPL Q1 net dips

Bongaigaon Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited has reported 47.98 per cent fall in net profit at Rs 68.80 crore for the first quarter of the current fiscal compared with Rs 132.26 crore for the same period in the previous year.

Cranes Software net up 33%

Cranes Software International, a global scientific and engineering software solutions provider, has posted a 33.5 per cent increase in net profit to Rs. 12.9 crore for Q1FY06 from Rs 9.7 crore posted during Q1FY05. Operating revenues grew by 30.92 per cent to Rs. 47.1 crore (Rs.36 crore).

Chennai Petro net up 43 %

Chennai Petroleum Corporation recorded a net profit of Rs 233.99 crore in the first quarter of the current fiscal, higher by 43.27 per cent in relation to the net profit of Rs 163.32 crore recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.

Net sales of the company in the quarter stood at Rs 4,694 crore, a rise of 66.51 per cent over the earlier year's net sales of Rs 2,819 crore.

Gross refining margin was at $6.52 a barrel, compared with $6.01 a barrel in the corresponding period of the previous year.

Dishman net at Rs 9 cr

Dishman Pharmaceuticals has registered a net profit of Rs 9.4 crore in the quarter ended June 30. Net sales stood at Rs 61.04 crore during the quarter and EPS at Rs 6.85.
