Meet BloombergUTV's new president

He is known for his ‘Thanda’ campaign for Coca-Cola. Sriram Kilambi , the newly appointed president of BloombergUTV has a mandate to augment BloombergUTV’s growth in India and deliver hit properties across various platforms. “I am quite excited to be on board. We want BloombergUTV to go beyond stocks and focus on news reporting to take the channel to the next level of growth,” he says.

Sriram, 35, an alumnus of IIM, Bangalore, and St Stephen’s College, Delhi, has worked with Times Group’s FM station, Radio Mirchi, as senior vice-president and national marketing head.

He started his career with Coca-Cola India and was instrumental in initiating and implementing strategic plans for brands such as Coca-Cola, Kinley and Georgia, including the Rs 5-a-bottle affordability campaign.

Sriram loves unwinding to classical music and playing the sitar. A football aficionado, he goes to London often to cheer his favourite team, Arsenal, and enjoys spending quality time with his family. He is married to Jaya, who works as a vice-president at Citibank.
