BSNL-MTNL to invest Rs 1,800cr for sub-sea cable

 The cable will be laid by Millennium Telecom, a subsidiary of MTNL, in which BSNL recently acquired 49% stake for about Rs 10 crore, A K Sinha, CMD of BSNL, said.

 "We plan to complete the project within 18 months, and have commissioned a consultant to prepare the blue print," he added.
