BV Biologicals signs MoU with Bhartiya Agro

BV Biologicals of the Venkateshwara Hatcheries group, which specialises in livestock management and healthcare, has entered into a joint venture with Bhartiya Agro Industries Foundation (BAIF) to bring quality livestock management systems and effective disease control programmes to the small and marginal farmers' segment.
 
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) in this regard was signed by O P Singh, CEO, Venkateshwara group, and president of BAIF N G Hegde on Tuesday.
 
The BAIF-BV Biologicals association will prepare farmers to face challenges of competitive productivity and growing international needs. BAIF, through their self-employment generation module, will facilitate penetration into the deeper rural areas while BV Biologicals will provide facility upgradation, lab installations and other technical support.
 
BAIF-BV Biologicals aims to provide improved and specialised technical service, disease diagnosis, nutritional solutions, fertility solutions, usermanagement techniques, post-vaccination disease surveillance and farm biosecurity measures.
 
It will also focus on data generation, accreditation and validation, informed a press release.
