Radhakrishnan, currently holds a senior position in Varkey Group, he is also a Board Member of GEMS Education and has been leading the Varkey Group's Education business interest in India viz GEMS India, Everonn Education and Dream India Schools.
The company also said that Sandeep Maniyar has been appointed as an additional director and CFO of the company, after Ganapathy Puranik resigned as CFO.
In 2012, Varkey Group and its associate company had acquired majority stake in Everonn, founded by P Kishore, who was then arrested by the CBI in August last year in an alleged bribing case of an Income Tax official.
The Group along with education arm Gems Education, initially acquired 38.12 % by investing Rs 237.28 crore in Everonn. The other major investor who came on Board was Nikhil Gandhi-owned SKIL Infrastructure, which now owns 18.33 % in Everonn.
Currently Varkey Group, Gem Education Asia, The Concorde Residential Schools (Kerala) Pvt Ltd, SKIL Infrastructure Ltd, Sunny Varkey and Sherly Varkey collectively hold 64.82 % in the company.
