US-based IT firm CA today announced the appointment of Amit Chatterjee as the Vice-President (Area Sales) and Country Manager for its Indian operations.
Chatterjee will report to CA Corporate Senior Vice-President and General Manager (Asia Pacific and Japan) Gavin Selkirk and will serve on the company's regional leadership team to help formulate and execute regional strategy, CA said in a statement.
He was previously associated with HP Software and has also worked with Microland and HCL Infosystems."India holds tremendous potential for CA in terms of market expansion and partnership opportunities, and as a source of research and development...This is our third major appointment in India in just over two months, placing CA India in an excellent position to pursue our R&D, sales and business development objectives," Selkirk said.
The company has recently appointed Saurabh Srivastava as CA India Chairman and William Bauman as Senior Vice-President and General Manager of its India Technology Center in Hyderabad.Chatterjee succeeds Ninad Karpe, who exited CA earlier this year.
