HOPE Foundation India, in collaboration with Computer Associates International Inc (CA), has opened a school for underprivileged children living in the urban slums of Hyderabad city. |
The school was inaugurated on Friday by JC Mohanty, state principal secretary (IT & communications). |
The school is entirely funded by Computer Associates and its employees and already has 120 children benefiting from it. The initiative is in line with CA's corporate social responsibility and its focus on programs that enhances the lives of children. |
At the school, children will receive free quality education, mid-day meals, uniforms, books etc. |
Pravin Chand, chief operating officer of Computer Associates India Technology Centre, said: "CA is very proud to be a part of this programme as it highlights the commitment of our people to making our communities better. By supporting the school, we can bring about positive changes in the lives of underprivileged children." |
