CADES, a leading Indian Engineering Design Services and Technology provider, today announced the setting up of a near-shore engineering delivery centre for aerospace and
defence customers in Toulouse, France.
This facility enables CADES to provide ‘front office’ services to its customers in Toulouse, as well as ramp up in an accelerated manner to cater efficiently to the increasing customer demands and high growth it is experiencing across European region.
CADES, which is part of Axis Aerospace & Technologies, has strong engineering engagements with EADS and its subsidiary Airbus, supporting them on various programmes. CADES is a certified E2S supplier to EADS, and has also established an offshore development centre for fuselage development, called AFDCI (Airbus Fuselage Design Centre India), for Airbus in Bangalore.
Sudhakar Gande, Vice Chairman, Axis Aerospace & Technologies, said: “This centre further reinforces our commitment towards our relationship with EADS and Airbus. As part of our growth strategy, we are increasing our footprint in key markets. This is our second such centre in Europe, the first one being in Hamburg, Germany.”
He said the company is also looking at investing on multiple fronts and actively scouting the market for acquisitions to expand offerings in Engineering Services for both the civil/commercial as well as defence/offset markets.
