Cadila FY06 net up 46%, to issue 1:1 bonus

Cadila Healthcare has posted a net profit of Rs 152.4 crore for FY06 as compared to Rs 104.7 crore for FY05. Total income has increased to Rs 1488 crore in FY06 from Rs 1250 crore in FY05.

According to an official release issued by Cadila to the BSE today,
the company posted a net profit of Rs 30.6 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 6.4 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2005. Total Income has increased to Rs 345.10 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 from Rs 246 crore in the corresponding previous quarter.

The board of the company at its meeting held today has recommended a bonus issue in the ratio of 1:1, i.e. one equity share of Rs 5/- each for every share held, the release said.
