Cairn India bags two blocks under NELP VI

Cairn India today annoucned that the company has bagged two exploration blocks in India - PR-OSN-2004/1 and KK-DWN-2004/1 - under the sixth New Exploration Licensing Policy round (NELP VI).

According to a release issued by Cairn India to the BSE today, the government of India had offered 55 exploration blocks - the highest ever offering under the NELP process - of which the company bagged two blocks.
