Cambridge Solutions net profit at Rs 18.5 cr

Cambridge Solutions, formerly Scandent Solutions Corporation, has reported a net profit of Rs 18.5 crore in the third quarter ended December 31, 2006, on a consolidated basis.

The net profit of the third quarter ended December 31, 2005, was Rs 8.51 crore since the results for the quarter represented the performance of the IT division only.

The consolidated revenue of the company in the third quarter grew by 24.3 per cent to Rs 358.6 crore compared with Rs 288.6 crore reported in the year-ago period.

Century Plyboards net at Rs 64 cr

Leading plywood and veneer manufacturing company Century Plyboards has registered 449 per cent leap in its net profit for the third quarter ended December 31, 2006, at Rs 64.44 crore against Rs 11.73 crore in the corresponding period last year.

The turnover of the company after consolidation has gone up to Rs. 508.32 crore, an increase of 76 per cent, from Rs. 288.28 crore in the corresponding quarter in 2005.

Godrej Industries PAT at Rs 32.24 cr

Godrej Industries has announced a profit-after"�tax of Rs 32.24 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006, 26.03 per cent higher compared with Rs 25.58 crore for the corresponding quarter in 2005.

Net sales were 15.5 per cent lower at Rs 152.98 crore compared to Rs 181.05 crore in 2005. The figures for the two years are not comparable because of the sale of the foods division to a subsidiary company last year.
