Camlin Fine Chemicals sales up 17% at Rs 21.39-crore

Camlin Fine Chemicals today said that its income from sales operations increased 17 per cent in the first quarter FY09 to Rs 21.39 crore against Rs 18.33 crore in the year-ago period.     

Its profit before tax for the reporting quarter stood at Rs 1.65 crore, up 94 per cent, against Rs 85.39 lakh in the year-ago period, a press release issued here stated.     
Company's Managing Director Ashish Dandekar said, "Our strategic approach of enhancing our product basket has begun to pay-off and we will continue with strong product development, process development and business support to enhance our market-share."
