Camlin Fine Sciences Ltd (CFSL), world's largest integrated manufacturer of food antioxidants, today said its standalone net profit increased to Rs 10.14 crore in 2011-12, from Rs 6.66 crore in the previous year.

The company's net sales also increased to Rs 251.75 crore in FY12 as against Rs 161.62 crore in FY11, a company statement said here.

The company's net sales increased to Rs 74.06 crore in Q4 FY 12 as against Rs 51.98 crore in Q4 FY 11.

However, net profit declined to Rs 1.27 crore in the quarter ended March 2012 as against Rs 2.73 crore in the corresponding period last year.

The year under review for food antioxidants TBHQ and BHA was a challenging one due to the pricing volatility of key raw material hydroquinone, the release said.
