Cantabil plans to set up unit in Delhi

Delhi-based Cantabil International (P) Ltd, owner of men's formal wear Cantabil, has plans to set up a new unit in New Delhi with an investment of Rs. 3 crore. Also, it is contemplating to launch kids wear in domestic market very soon. The company had launched women's wear last year.
 
 
Speaking to Business Standard, managing director of the company, Vijay Bansal said, " In order to cater to the growing demand we would be setting up new unit in New Delhi with an investment of Rs. 3 crore which would be funded through internal accurals and term loans." At present Cantabil has three manufacturing facilities in the national capital. The company also sources fabrics from Arvinds Mills, Ashima, JCT etc."
 
 
We are planning to launch kids wear in the domestic market. Commenting upon expansion plans, Bansal said. " The company plans to have a network of over a 100 outlets across India by the end of 2007. Basically, we are targeting district headquarters with a population of over 500,000."
 
 
At present the company has 75 outlets. The company outsource designs from Italy. In last financial year, the turnover of the company was Rs. 43 crore and this year it is targeting to achive Rs. 100 crore.
