Capgemini wins BS Quiz

Contest had participants from over 75 B-schools as well as employees of companies like HDFC Life, J P Morgan, Indian Oil and Tata Consultancy Services

Rajarshi Chanda and Mayank Shah of Capgemini won the first Business Standard Quiz contest (western region) held in Mumbai on Saturday.

Conducted by Gaurav Sri Krishna, the contest had participants from over 75 business schools as well as companies like HDFC Life, JPMorgan, IndianOil and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).

The JPMorgan’s team, comprising Geo Thomas and Vikram Keskar, was selected the first runner-up, while TCS represented by Pravin Varma and Vinayak Das became the second runner-up.

While winners were given a cash award of Rs 25,000, the first and second runners-up got Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively.

The event, held at the Bombay Stock Exchange's  international convention centre, also saw the launch of  the Business Standard Quiz Book authored by Sri Krishna.
 

Candidates for the competition were shortlisted after written tests, which threw up 18 teams who participated in three rounds of contest. Similar contests will be conducted in other regions as well.
