Cartridge World eyes Rs 300cr revenues from India

"At present, our share in the Indian cartridge market is minimal. However, with the increasing corporate spending and IT expenditures, we expect to corner a 10 per cent market share by 2010," Naveen Rakhecha, chief executive officer (South Asia), told mediapersons here on Tuesday.

Print cartridges in India are today replaced by expensive new original equipment manufacturer (OEM) cartridges or poorly filled cartridges. Further, there is no organised retail chain of refilling services in the Indian subcontinent. Cartridge World intends to fill this void by expanding its retail presence in the region to 250 stores, each having a carpet area of between 500 sft and 1,000 sft, by 2010, he added.
