CavinKare starts R&D centre in Chennai

R A Mashelkar, director general of CSIR, today inaugurated a reserch centre of CavinKare.

Situated on the outskirts of Chennai, the CavinKare Research Centre (CRC) has a built-up area of 30,000 sq ft, and can accommodate 20 laboratories with over 100 research personnel.

"CRC can cater to the reserach areas of skin care, hair care, colour cosmetics, soaps and detergents, chemistry - natural products, as well as process chemistry, microbiology, bio-chemistry, cell biology, analysis, packaging development, product evaluation, nutraceuticals, pickles and spices," an official release said today.
