Cehko launches hair care products in Chennai

Cehko India, the marketing partner of Germany-based Cehko plans to enter the retail segment with its hair care products in July.
 
Addressing media on the launch at Chennai, K V Ravi Krishnan, vice-president, marketing, said that hair colour was a niche segment and is estimated at Rs 250 crore.
 
Cehko is targeting all the beauty salons in the city and will launch its products in Bangalore soon. Priced above Rs 300, the products will be imported from Germany.
 
"We have about 175 hair colour products. We are aiming at creating awareness about Cehko products among people," he said.
 
Cehko India has an equity capital of Rs 6 crore and is targeting a turnover of Rs 12 crore in 2005-06.
