The state government has decided to set up a special cell in the Office of the Commissioner of Family Welfare headed by a senior official for effective monitoring of 108 and 104 health services.
A decision to this effect was taken at a review meeting held by the chief minister, K Rosaiah, on Thursday with the minister for Arogya Sri, P Satyanarayana, the managements of HMRI and EMRI and government officials. The government has also decided to constitute a committee of experts and officials to go into specific issues on the memorandum of understanding and other related issues with EMRI.
