Century Textiles Q1 net at Rs 108cr

Century Textiles & Industries has posted a net profit of Rs 107.91 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 whereas it was Rs 69.73 crore for Q1FY07.

According to an official release issued by the company to the BSE today, total income for the quarter is Rs 857.66 crore whereas it was Rs 734.32 crore for Q1FY07.

As a result of cessation of manufacturing operations at the company's textile mill at Worli, Mumbai, the results for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 are not comparable with those of corresponding previous quarter, the release said.
