Cera Sanitaryware Ltd, a Mehsana-based company is expecting a growth of 50 per cent in its net sales in the next fiscal. |
This year, company's net sale is expected to be Rs 80 crore and by next year it aims to increase it by another Rs 40 crore. Till the third quarter of this financial year, the sale was nearly Rs 61 crore. |
"After the current fiscal, we have planned to outsource non-sanitaryware products including showers, sensors and several other items," informed Vidush Somany, executive director of Cera Sanitaryware Ltd. |
According to Somany, once the company starts dealing in non-sanitaryware, it's current sale will rise by 50 per cent. "We currently produce 1.2 million pieces per annum and by the next year it will increase to 1.5 million pieces," he said. |
"Simultaneously, we will also concentrate on sanitaryware," said Somany. "Our market share of sanitaryware is around 50 per cent in organised market and in total it is around 13 per cent," he explained. |
Cera Sanitaryware Ltd is also planning to increase its exports. "By next year, export of the company is likely to shot up by 10 per cent as we will be exporting our non-sanitaryware items in countries like south east Asia and Australia among others," said Somany. |
Talking about the complex production process of sanitaryware, Somany explained, "We use latest technology like beam casting system, electrostatic spraying unit and conveyorised material handling. This apart, imported kilns are used to fire the products at a temperature of 1,200 degree C. This process vitrify and make the products resistant to acid, alkali and extreme weather conditions." |
