Power utility company CESC today announced an increase of 7.8% in its net profit at Rs 110 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2010, as compared to Rs 102 crore in the same period last fiscal.
Revenues of the company in the quarter increased 18% at Rs 939 crore as compared to Rs 797 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal, CESC said in a statement.
Generation of CESC increased 15%, following commissioning of the third unit at Budge Budge, the statement added.
